We store data on a server that is located in Frankfurt, Germany. The server is hosted by Robhost GmbH; all details including certifications and compliance regulations of the data centre can be found here (available in German only).

We do not, and will not, sell, rent, publish or share your data to any third party. Your data stays with us. The only exception is if we are forced by law to provide information to authorities. We use any collected data solely for internal use to improve our service and product. We aggregate data from all users and calculate statistics (e.g. number of ratings completed over a certain time period or average number of ratings completed per registered user).

The CountryRisk.io community is a key element of the platform. And with CountryRisk.io's quest to be open and transparent, all rating analysis made by registered users on the platform will be visible to other users. This includes the rating analysis, uploaded datasets, comments and ratings. The only exception relates to users who have opted for the premium package, which keeps activities (e.g. rating analysis, datasets) private or allows it to share only with a designated group in CountryRisk.io.
